To reserve the date for your Photo Session with YELEYNAYA PHOTOGRAPHY, a deposit of 50% (of the total session cost) is required at the time of booking.
A photography deposit is a retainer before scheduling an event or photoshoot. This is common for weddings, love story sessions, honeymoon sessions, and other services YELEYNAYA PHOTOGRAPHY offers. When a professional photographer’s time is limited, a photography deposit is used to ensure that they are financially compensated in the event that the session is canceled.
WHEN THE PHOTOGRAPHER RECEIVES THE DEPOSIT, these funds are often used to secure transportation to and from the photoshoot location, hotel & accommodations, and purchase/rent necessary equipment for the reserved session. Retainer fees are used to reserve your date. Once your date is reserved, the photographer will not accept new clients for your date.
CLIENT CANCELLATION. If you, THE CLIENT, cancel your contracted photography services with YELEYNAYA PHOTOGRAPHY, as compensation for loss of income for YELEYNAYA PHOTOGRAPHY, the following charges apply as a percentage of the total fee deposit. (Number of days before the photoshoot): 0-60 days = 100%, 61-100 days = 50%, 101 days = 0 %.
WHEN CLIENT CHANGES DATE OF SCHEDULED PHOTOSHOOT TO A DIFFERENT DATE. Should the cancelled photoshoot turn out to be a postponement, then, subject to availability, all money paid may be applied to the new photoshoot date. In this case, the total fees chargeable shall be the fee which applies at that time. In the event of YELEYNAYA PHOTOGRAPHY taking another photoshoot booking for your cancelled or postponed date, a full unconditional refund of your deposit and monies paid shall be made.
This is taken on a case by case basis. The reason for canceling and photographer availability is taken into consideration. Also, if rates change from your original date to your new date, the new rates will apply.
PHOTOGRAPHERS CANCELLATION. In the unlikely event that YELEYNAYA PHOTOGRAPHY has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond her control, (injury, sickness, or other circumstances beyond the control ofthe photographer, etc.) a substitute photographer of high qualifications, similar skill, style, pricing, and product offerings may be sent to fulfill the obligations of the photographer herein contracted. If a substitute photographer is provided, THE CLIENT has the right to refuse the substitute photographer and may instead terminate this agreement and receive a full refund of all monies paid.
